Proofwork

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Proofwork ("Proofwork", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Proofwork, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Proofwork is a career profile and resume builder. It lets you record your real experience once, build and edit resumes from it, compare your background against job descriptions, and review AI-assisted suggestions for wording and organization.

Proofwork is a writing and organization tool. It is not a recruiting agency, career counseling service, or hiring intermediary, and it does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Proofwork.

4. Your content

"Your content" means the career profile, resumes, job descriptions, uploaded files and other material you add to Proofwork. You retain ownership of your content.

You grant Proofwork a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process and display your content solely to operate and improve the service for you — for example, to render your resumes, generate the analyses and suggestions you request, and export documents you ask for.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your content. Proofwork is designed to work only from facts you provide; it does not verify them, and you are responsible for what you submit to employers.

5. AI-assisted features

Some features use AI models to analyze job descriptions, suggest wording, and generate drafts (such as tailored resumes, cover letters and interview preparation notes). These features are configured to use only the facts in your own career profile and the material you provide.

AI output may be imperfect. Suggestions are always presented for your review, and nothing is applied to your documents without your approval. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving any AI-assisted content before you use it.

Job-match and resume analyses are comparisons between your profile and a posting — they are not predictions of hiring decisions and must not be represented as such.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Proofwork for anything unlawful, or to harass, defame or deceive others.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or probe or disrupt the service.
  • Scrape, bulk-export or reverse engineer the service.
  • Use the service to generate deceptive application material, such as fabricated credentials.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Plans and usage limits

Proofwork offers free and paid plan tiers. Each tier includes usage limits (for example, number of resumes, job analyses and AI actions per period) shown in the app and on the pricing page. Limits reset as described in your account settings. We may change plan features or limits with reasonable notice; changes will not reduce limits you have already purchased mid-period.

8. Intellectual property

Proofwork itself — the software, design, templates, branding and the Pip mascot — is owned by Proofwork and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to it except the right to use the service as intended. Resumes and documents you create from your own content are yours to export and use.

9. Termination

You can stop using Proofwork at any time and may delete your account and data from Settings → Danger zone, or by contacting us at officialmspmedia@gmail.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service or other users.

10. Disclaimers

Proofwork is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that using it will produce any employment outcome.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofwork will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100) if you have not paid us anything.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app. Continued use of Proofwork after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
