Proofwork

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Proofwork is a career profile and resume builder. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: your career data exists to serve you — we use it to run the features you ask for, and we do not sell it.

1. What we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address and sign-in method (email/password or Google sign-in).
  • Career profile — the work experience, achievements, education, skills, projects, certifications and other career details you choose to enter.
  • Documents you upload — existing resumes (PDF/DOCX) you import for parsing.
  • Job material — job titles, companies and descriptions you paste or import, and any saved jobs.
  • Content we generate with you — resumes, resume versions, tailored suggestions, cover letters and interview prep notes created through the features you use.
  • Usage information — feature usage counts needed to apply your plan's limits, plus basic technical logs needed to operate and debug the service.

2. How we use your data

  • To create and maintain your account and keep your data associated with it.
  • To build, store, render and export your resumes and career profile.
  • To run the AI-assisted features you request — job-match analysis, resume review, tailoring, cover letters and interview prep. To do this, the relevant parts of your profile and the job material you provided are processed by AI models. These features are configured to work only from facts you supplied.
  • To apply plan limits and keep usage counters accurate.
  • To respond to support and privacy requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your career data to advertise to you.

3. Service providers

Proofwork runs on third-party infrastructure. Your data is processed by service providers that supply our hosting, database, authentication, file storage and AI processing. These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to deliver the service. If you sign in with Google, Google's own policies govern its handling of that sign-in.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and career data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger zone, or by emailing officialmspmedia@gmail.com. Deletion removes your data from active systems immediately; residual copies may persist briefly in backups before rotating out.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction — your career profile, resumes and account details are visible and editable in the app at any time.
  • Export — you can export your resumes as PDF and download generated reports.
  • Deletion — delete your account and data yourself from Settings → Danger zone, or email us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will work with you in good faith.

6. Security

We apply access controls so each account can only reach its own data, and we limit internal access to what is needed to operate the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security; see our Security page for how to report a vulnerability.

7. Children

Proofwork is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app.
